I started my music career with classical training in voice, piano, and music theory. With a brief interlude in jazz piano. Currently, I front the bands, Nothing Wrong, and Open Hand, singing lead vocals and playing rhythm guitar and percussion; I am half of the duo, Ants on a Log, and I study samba drumming with the Unidos de Filadelfia samba school, performing regularly throughout Philadelphia. I am especially interested in tight harmonies, percussive interludes, jazzy arrangements, and genre fusions.
Influences: The Wood Brothers, Lake Street Dive, The Head and the Heart, Melody Gardot, The Carolina Chocolate Drops, Tom Lehrer, Paul Simon, and Ella Fitzgerald.
