“Hamlet” has been shown in film festivals around the world, including Chicago International Children’s Film Festival (Emerging Director Award, and 2nd place for Best Animation chosen by the children’s jury), Redcat Film Fest, Nashville Independent Film Festival (Best Young Filmmaker), Toronto Images Festival, the Boston Museum of Art, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and more.  Watch it here:

Erin Hayden was 9 years old when she participated in this project. She is now a senior in highschool and wrote this in a recent email:

“Guess what… I’m reading Hamlet in English class and the first thing I thought when my teacher told us to bring our Hamlet books in was, ‘I know all about Hamlet from my favorite babysitter’. So of course I got out your senior project Hamlet video and watched it! haha, Jenny and I sound so little. But I remember exactly where we were when you taped us and being so shocked that everyone died in the end. Anyway, I just thought that was funny that now I’m reading Hamlet in senior English…full circle I guess.”
