• INSECTS AND OUR FOOD:  How are insects important to us, and how are they pests? From pollination to pests to pesticides, this unit addresses both beneficial and detrimental insects and the social aspects of how we humans deal with insects. Students are asked to think critically about real-world solutions for our food supply.

In order to understand insects, we must understand flowers and pollination.
