Nature’s Classroom, 2005
Nature’s Classroom is a three-season program for elementary school students. School groups attend for one week and are assigned a “field group instructor,” with whom they explore the natural environment each morning through games and team building activities.

Instructors also teach specific afternoon classes, such as shark dissection, eyeball anatomy, ice-cream-making, and many more. All classes are intended to present science in fun and entertaining ways, and teachers often create their own lessons. Also part of instructor duties were mealtime activities, evening stories, and nightly “Quiet Sing.”
